With experience in over 1,000 gene-editing CRO projects across more than 300 cell types, we offer robust support for both research and applied development. Our services include the generation of a variety of cell models, such as gene knockout, point mutation, gene knock-in, overexpression or interference stable cell lines, and iPSC editing.
Stable cell lines are created by integrating exogenous genes—such as target genes, reporter genes, or shRNA—into the host cell genome via transgenic technology. These cell populations can maintain long-term, stable inheritance and expression of the introduced genes through cell division and proliferation. Unlike transient transfection, in stable cell lines the exogenous DNA is integrated into the chromosome, enabling sustained expression.
Moreover, KO/KI/point mutation cell lines can be generated not only through traditional stable integration methods but also via transient transfection strategies that achieve the same stable inheritance and expression. This flexibility allows researchers to select the most suitable approach for different experimental and application scenarios.
